The role: In this role you will be responsible for Opening and closing of the building and Gym, cashing up, dealing with customers, assisting school staff during the day and members in the evenings and weekends, setting up sports equipment, taking bookings, placing orders and general cleaning tasks.
We are looking for motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individual’s to join our team at an exciting period of change for Trafford Leisure. To be successful in this role you must have:
- Minimum Level 2 Gym Qualification
- Experience being a key holder
Working Hours: 36.25 per week - £12.92ph

Alongside our recent £7million development of Urmston (Fitness & Wellbeing in Trafford, Greater Manchester (twmove.co.uk) which opened in 2020, Trafford Council will be continuing their investment plan into indoor Leisure across Trafford. Altrincham, Sale and Stretford’s Leisure Centre’s will be refurbished turning these busy but tired facilities into modern, inspiring, fit for purpose Centre’s under the continued roll out of Trafford Leisure’s new brand . Alongside this we need to ensure we have a developed and committed team across Trafford Leisure to allow us to continue delivering a first class service to our customer.

This is a pivotal point in our evolution as Trafford Council invest millions of pounds into the 5 main indoor leisure facilities in Trafford over the next 5 years. The ambitious investment program will see the portfolio of centres transformed into fit for purpose, accessible, inspiring spaces under a new brand of for future generations to come. Alongside this we need to ensure we have a developed a committed team across Trafford Leisure to allow us to continue delivering the best service to our customer to help create opportunities for them to move more and live longer, healthier, happier lives.
The Role
In this role you will be responsible for processing the membership direct debit and the processes around it. The role will also be supporting our sites with Gladstone ensuring the processes are streamlined and best practice applied.
- Delivering at the heart
We are looking for motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individual’s to join our team at an exciting period of change for Trafford Leisure. To be successful in this role you must be a proficient MS office user with strong excel skills. It would be beneficial to have Gladstone experience but not essential.
Working Hours: 36.5 hours Monday – Friday
Location: Support Office with frequent site visits. Benefit from our flexible working policy.

The Role
In this role you will be responsible for assisting the swim well manager in day to day operations, such as:
- Dealing with face to face enquiries emails answering Telephone calls
- Developing the 1-2-1 swimming lessons offer
- Covering swimming teachers in their absence due to sickness or holidays
- Working as part of a strong swimming teacher team and wider colleagues.
- Being involved with school swimming completing end of term reports.

The Role
We are looking for motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individuals to join our teams at an exciting period of change for Trafford Leisure.
To be successful in this role you must have Level 2 qualification either STA or Swim England.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Delivering structured lessons for all levels of swimmers
- Teaching students from schools or who are Adult or Junior members of our community
- Assessing against the agreed Swim Well criteria
- Coordinating distribution of awards
- Working with teachers and parents to organise classes and ensuring that Health and Safety needs are met
- Personally, ensuring that equipment is at first class standards in both safety and cleanliness at all times
- Personally, ensuring that the environment in which you deliver your role is of
- Owning and managing the administration of your work, including:
- Diary management
- Individual records for swimmer achievements
Working Hours: Evenings and weekends hours available/contracts of 2.5 hours – 16 hours per week
Location: Opportunities available at all our sites, Sale Leisure Centre, Stretford Sports Village, Move Urmston or Partington Sports Village.
