Home 2 The Games – Olympic and Paralympic Talent ID Campaign
Nationwide search for aspiring young athletes in your community.
From Home 2 The Games is a multi-sport campaign currently searching for athletes between the ages of 11-23 to explore their potential in the Olympic sports ofTrampolining, Diving, Skeleton, Track cycling, Rowing, Modern Pentathlon and Weightlifting and athletes between the ages of 15-35 to explore their potential in multiple Paralympic sports. The campaign was launched on Thursday 3rd June on BBC Breakfast.
Campaigns like From Home 2 The Games have been hugely successful in identifying athletes who may never have found the sport they have gone on to excel at. For example, the double Olympic rowing champion Helen Glover was identified through Sporting Giants in 2007; Lutalo Muhammad the double Olympic taekwondo medalist was identified through Fighting Chance in 2009; the multi-sport Paralympic champion Kadeena Cox was identified through Power2Podium in 2014; and Lizzy Yarnold the double Olympic champion in skeleton was identified through Girls4Gold in 2008.
We know there are athletes out there who could follow in their footsteps!
Sign-up will be open until midnight on 6th September.
We hope you enjoyed the recent Olympics and are looking forward to the start of the Paralympics next week.
