A first for Trafford, Clip and Climb is a healthy action-packed climbing activity delivering WOW experiences that will bring you and your family back time and time again. There are 12 great climbing challenges for adults and children to try some adventurous, action-packed fun at Move Urmston.
Clip and Climb sessions include a 10-minute safety video and then a 50 Minute Climbing session, please pre-book to secure your place.

We currently have Walking Football sessions at Sale Leisure Centre, Walking Football is just like the real game only no running. This sport allows older players and people with underlying health conditions to exercise in a safe fun environment.

A fun baby and toddler class for babies and toddlers in Stretford! For children under 5.
The session includes a variety of soft play equipment, toys, books, music and a sing-a-long. Juice and biscuits are also provided for the children.

Football is the national game and is well represented and participated in by various groups and teams throughout the Borough of Trafford.
Trafford Leisure employs a Football Development Manager to develop and enhance football at all levels, from Junior Clubs through to semi-professional and Professional Clubs.
We offer a number of external football schemes to support the individual player, as well as coaching and training sessions within schools for both pupils and staff. The development of football also covers coach education, facilities, pitch improvements and everything else in between.
Trafford is at the forefront of football’s development as we work closely with both Cheshire and Manchester Football Associations, along with the National Football Association.
Trafford Leisure is responsble for the management, maintenance and lettings of all grass pitches in the Borough of Trafford. The facilites include junior and adult pitches along with associated pavilions which all include showers.
Grass pitches can be hired for the season or for inidividal games and come supplied with insurance if required. Pitch sizes run from Mini Soccer, 9v9, Junior, Youth and Adult sizes.
Sports Hall and artificial turf bookings are available for both recreational and game use. For details on these contact your local leisure centre
Partington Sports Village & Stretford Talbot Centre offer the best facilities for Football indoor and out. We provide a full size state of the art 3G artificial flood lit pitch, Indoor sports hall and 3 external grass pitches.
Old Trafford Sports Barn offers a full size 7 aside state of the art 3G artificial flood lit pitch, Indoor sports hall, outdoor mini 5 aside and basket ball concret pitch.
All are available for casual and block bookings.
Whether you’re part of a regular team looking for a venue to play your weekly matches, or a group of friends going for a kick-about, our 5-a-side facilities are ready for you.
