Trafford Leisure is seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as an Assistant Spa Manager. Due to open in early 2025, our new state-of-the-art centre will feature a Health and Wellbeing Spa, a 25m swimming pool, a 20m learner pool, and a high-tech gym and wellness space. The Role
The Cove Spa will offer a range of wellness experiences, including 9 heat experiences, a relaxation room, a dedicated nail bar, and four treatment rooms. As Assistant Spa Manager, you will play a key role in managing and developing the team, recruiting new members when needed, and ensuring that guests receive exceptional treatments and experiences. You will oversee the spa environment and manage the treatment diary to ensure that guests make the most of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop the spa team, ensuring the highest standard of service.
- Recruit new team members as necessary to maintain the spa's operation.
- Oversee the spa environment and treatment schedules to optimise guest experiences.
- Contribute to setting sales targets and ensuring the spa meets its financial goals.
- Maintain a professional and enthusiastic approach to customer satisfaction.
- Extensive knowledge of spa treatments.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and costs effectively.
- Experience in setting and achieving sales targets.

The Role

- Delivering structured lessons for all levels of swimmers

You may already be a Level 1 or 2 British Gymnastics qualified coach. If so we would love to hear from you.
Alternatively, you might currently coach a different sport or have children who currently train and are now looking to begin a career in gymnastics coaching. We can support the right candidate with an experienced mentor/coach and support you to train with us to obtain a gymnastics qualification.

Trafford Leisure are looking for Golf Course Volunteers at Altrincham Golf Course!
About the Golf Course:
Altrincham Golf Course is Trafford Leisure’s beautiful heritage 18-hole golf course. We welcome players of all ages and abilities. Our facilities include a driving range, golf shop, pub and clubhouse. We are looking for friendly & sociable volunteers to help us make sure the course remains an accessible, welcoming community asset for all.
What does a typical day look like?
When you arrive at the course you will be greeted by a member of staff and sign in for your shift. You might spend the morning walking around the driving range collecting golf balls, improving your fitness as you go. You might then pick up a golf buggy and drive around the course saying hello to golfers and processing their entry payments using a payment machine. You might also attend a training session with a driving range attendant to learn more about how the range operates.
Your tasks
Depending on the time of day you are available to volunteer, your tasks may include:
- Collecting golf balls from the driving range using a hand-held ball collector alongside other volunteers or staff
- Cleaning golf balls using a golf ball washing machine
- Checking golfers’ names against that day’s bookings list
- Taking payments from golfers using a PDQ machine (card machine)
- Greeting golfers and creating a friendly environment on the course
- Operate heavy machinery
- Provide health, fitness or technique advice to golfers
- Administer first aid
- Do anything you are uncomfortable with or have not been trained to do
- Keeping active – this role will benefit your health & wellbeing by helping you move more
- A sense of belonging in the community – get to know other local people & make new friends
