Staff Family Pass

The following condition will apply:

• To apply for a Family & Friend’s pass the staff member must be contracted, work a minimum of 10 hours a week and have completed their probationary period. For casual or coaching staff you must have worked an average of over 10 hours per week in the previous 12 months.
• The FF Pass is available for a maximum of 5 people (Dependent on your length of service) either family members or friends of your choice;
  1. 0-1 Years Service = 2 Family & Friends Passes
  2. 1-2 Years Service = 3 Family & Friends Passes
  3. 2-3 Years Service = 4 Family & Friends Passes
  4. 3+ Years Service =  5 Family & Friends Passes
• Unfortunately, we are unable to apply the FF passes to anyone who is an existing member of Trafford Leisure or who has been a member of Trafford Leisure in the last 12 months. There is an exception to this and after 2 years service you may put a request in writing to the CEO who has the authority to override this exemption.
• Each FF pass will be valid for 1 year only from the date of purchase and is not transferrable
• The FF pass will only be valid when a photograph is taken of the pass holder.
• The Authorising Manager has the right to refuse FF applications and their decision is final.
• Each FF pass will cost £5.00 per person (simply to cover administration costs) and payment can be made at a centre of your choice when you apply for a FF pass. Please note if you apply for a pass when not eligible the £5 admin cost could still be incurred.

Choice of Family Friends Pass:

In addition to increasing who is eligible for a family & the numbers dependent on your length of service with Trafford Leisure we are also improving on the choice of pass available. Previously we have only offered Staff Passes that allowed members to do a pay and play, in effect they pay each time they undertake an activity.

• Whilst we still want to offer the pay and play option, we are also looking to improve on this benefit for our people and to offer the option for the new FF Direct Debit Pass. These are to be offered on a direct debit basis whereby for the price of just £12.50 a month holders (excluding golf activities) of FF Direct Debit passes have unlimited access to leisure centre activities outlined below. Direct debit is only available for over 18’s.

• FF Pay and Play Pass. The following activities can be accessed with those booking on FF Pay and Play Pass for those who may want to access the facilities on a less frequent basis.: –

1. Gym or Swim £2
2. Aerobic Sessions £2
3. Fitzone/Zest- sessions £2
4. Virtual spinning – £2
5. Golf – Weekdays and after midday at Weekends £5.00
6. Driving Range – 50% off standard price
7. Other activities such as – badminton courts, spinning sessions etc. will incur the normal price.

• For all FF passes you are able to book the activity on the day of the activity, this replicates the booking for those with a Staff pass
• Once the staff member leaves, the FF pass will be withdrawn, irrespective of how long with the 1 year the FF pass was issued. If the FF pass is on a direct debit, this will end the following month.
• Trafford Leisure has the right to change the activities, price and rules of the scheme at any time, but will ensure that all staff are provided with 14 days’ notice by e-mail of any change and the staff member is responsible for advising FF.
• Site Manager has the right to remove a FF pass from any person found misusing it.
• Once a FF pass has been purchased this cannot be transferred to another person.
