Salary: £12.70 per hour
Hours: Part Time – 15 hours
- Monday: 6:30am- 2:00pm
- Tuesday: 6:30am-2:00pm

The Role:
We’re looking for a passionate and energetic Fitness Instructor to join us at Trafford Leisure during an exciting period of transformation. As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding service to both customers and colleagues, helping to create a welcoming and inspiring environment.
In this role, you’ll be the friendly face that greets every visitor, setting the tone for a positive experience. You’ll ensure our fitness spaces are safe, professional, and supportive, empowering customers to achieve their health and wellbeing goals. Your contribution will be vital in upholding our reputation for excellence and driving the continued success of our centres.
In the role of Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for:
- Welcome and engage customers, creating a friendly and motivating environment that promotes health and fitness.
- Guide members through gym inductions, ensuring they understand how to use equipment safely and effectively.
- Design and deliver personalised fitness programmes tailored to individual goals and abilities.
- Promote and sell memberships by highlighting the benefits of our services and facilities.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Lead and support group fitness classes, adapting sessions to meet participant needs.
- Set up activity areas and equipment in line with scheduled programmes and classes.
- Ensure all fitness equipment is maintained to top-tier safety and hygiene standards.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, feedback, and requests.
To be successful in the role of Fitness Instructor:
You must hold a minimum of a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification.
