Trafford Leisure is looking for a Gymnastics Programme Manager to join the team.

Location: The role will be predominantly based at our hub at Altrincham and will also include managing our smaller preschool gymnastics programme at Sale Leisure Centre.

Pay: £29,000-31,000 per annum (with pay review pending for 2025)

Hours: 39 hours per week

The development of the new centre is well underway, including a state-of-the-art Health and Wellbeing Spa, a 25m swimming pool, 20m learner pool, and a state-of-the-art gym and wellness space.

We’re looking for the right individual to help shape, launch, and develop our brand-new, purpose-built Gymnastics Hub.

The Role

We are looking for an outstanding person to join and lead our gymnastics team in the role of Gymnastics Programme Manager.. Our programme incorporates baby soft play and preschool gymnastics through to advanced gymnastics, so the successful candidate should have experience in all elements of recreational gymnastics.

As Gymnastics Programme Manager, you will have a proven track record in the recruitment, training and development of gymnastics instructors. You will be able to motivate team members and colleagues while maintaining agreed standards of programme delivery and consistently exceeding customer expectations. You will also be experienced in managing revenue targets.

The Gymnastics Programme Manager will have previous experience coordinating and delivering a successful gymnastics programme. You must be able to demonstrate effective organisational and communication skills and be able to deal effectively and professionally with customers and colleagues at every level. You must be prepared to help drive the business forward. You will be a proactive member of the management team and assist in developing and promoting events and activities to generate revenue and promote retention.

Skills and Qualifications

It is essential that you hold a UKCC Level 2 qualification in gymnastics (Men’s Artistic, Women’s Artistic, or General Gymnastics). Level 3 is desirable, however for the right person we will support you in becoming qualified.

Successful candidates must have a flexible approach regarding hours worked to suit the needs of the business.

The Next Steps

As this is a brand-new development, the Gymnastics Programme Manager will be heavily involved in recruiting gymnastics instructors and leading the launch of the gymnastics programme.
